Aaron Rodgers Leaves Game, DeShone Kizer in for Packers

He made the Super Bowl in his first season as the Colts' head coach, but he had Peyton Manning as his quarterback. The Packers seem interested in giving him the chance to do so in Green Bay.

The Green Bay Packers are facing off against the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field for the last game of their regular season - and their last game of 2018.

There will be plenty of other interviews for the Packers as the team searches for the best pairing for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The passing game clicked despite a depleted receiving corps, with Kenny Golladay missing the relatively meaningless game with a chest injury. Stafford was 20 of 32, while rookie Brandon Powell had six catches for 103 yards. Rodgers stayed in the game for two more series before heading to the locker room for evaluation.

It was unclear exactly when Rodgers got hurt, though he lost his helmet during a sack on his second play of the game. He has also dealt with left knee issues all season. His most recent head coaching duties came with the Detroit Lions from 2014-17, leading the team to the playoffs twice.

DeShone Kizer is in for the Packers. Green Bay didn't top 100 yards in total offense until the third quarter.

The pass allowed the Lions to go up 14-0, and it was Prater's second pass attempt in his career.
