Lyon may be willing to complete the formalities of a deal in January but Fekir make the move next summer.

Premier League giants Chelsea are considering a move for Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir in the upcoming January transfer window, it has been claimed by the Mail.

Fekir was linked with Real Madrid in the summer but the club's transfer plans were shelved when Zinedine Zidane surprisingly resigned just days after he led them to the Champions League with a Final win over Liverpool.

The club want a new striker and have held talks with AC Milan and Juventus about the possibility of taking over Higuain's season-long loan from the Turin club, with Morata moving to the San Siro for the rest of the season. I say thank you to my previous club, to Chelsea as well, who wanted me a lot. The 25-year-old is versatile and can play as either attacking midfielder or forward. They already have players like Vinicius to play in such roles.

Is Fekir a good option for Chelsea?
