Spice Girls set to tour without Victoria Beckham

Kids of the 90s this is our year.grab your platforms and hair crimpers, Spice Girls have confirmed a 2019 reunion tour.

The band originally had five members: Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice) and Geri Horner, formerly Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice).

So it looks like Victoria Beckham has simply outgrown her popband days and that's fair enough too, as she's now a mum-of-four as well as a fashion powerhouse.

And while Victoria won't be a part of the lineup hitting the road in a tour that's expected to net them £10m each, she still took time out to release a statement on the exciting announcement.

June dates have been scheduled in Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and London.

Tickets will be go on sale at 10:30am on Saturday, November 10.

Jess Glynne tweeted her excitement at joining the iconic girl group on tour, saying it was going to "kick off".

Meanwhile, Geri, who quit the group back in 1998, gushed: 'I am so excited, together we celebrate girl power with our fans and the next generation and everyone is welcome!

The last time all five of them performed together was at the 2012 London Olympics.

The Spice Girls are reuniting next year!

The four participating members recorded a news bulletin to announce the tour.

She added, to Theakston: "Please don't look at me any more, or I might just blurt it out".

After months of rumours following the group's meeting in February this year, Geri, Emma, Mel C and Mel B have confirmed they will play six stadium shows next year.

It is a decade since the world's biggest girl band toured.

But with Christmas coming up, we can definitely see a fair few of you buying tickets for this one.
