The OnePlus 6T was launched in NY on Monday with no questions from regulators.

OnePlus has claimed that OnePlus 6T has the fastest in-display scanner one has ever seen on a smartphone. These differences span the features and specifications of the devices, as well as the pricing. The glass on the front and back is also upgraded to Gorilla Glass 6.

OnePlus has just introduced its OnePlus 6T smartphone that is an upgrade over the OnePlus 6 smartphone. With minimal bezels and speaker grille too, moved to top of the device. The OnePlus 6T sports a 6.41-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen, which is larger than the 6.28-inch option with similar resolution on the OnePlus 6.

Like most other Android flagships that have been released this year, the OnePlus 6T makes use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor that can be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. There is a 3,700mAh battery on board with fast charge support (5V, 4A) that's said to deliver a full day of power in 30 minutes of charge, while the OnePlus 6T measures 157.5x74.8x8.2mm, weighing 185 grams.

The dual rear camera set-up is as follows - 16MP+20MP, f/1.7 aperture, OIS/EIS, 480fps slow-mo video, 4K@60fps and scene recognition is built in along with a Nightscape mode to allow for better night/low light photography without having to switch to Pro Mode.

While the "Nighscape" feature promised better pictures in low-light and at night, "Studio Lightening" ensures better potrait images.

The OnePlus 6T has the same hardware, sensors, and lense in the camera as the OnePlus 6. Google Lens has also been included as standard in the user interface.

OnePlus 6T comes to India at Rs 37,999 onwards. In addition to OnePlus exclusive offline stores and Croma, OnePlus has partnered with Reliance Digital to sell the OnePlus 6T across all stores in India.

The company will also be hosting pop-up events across 8 Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad on 2 November 2018 starting 11:00 am. The OnePlus 6T and T-Mobile's LTE network were made for each other - blazing speeds, incredible value and a great customer experience! Across the globe, pop-ups will be held in 32 cities including New York, London, Paris, Milan and Beijing. USA mobile infrastructure is apparently different to ours, and simply having an unlocked phone doesn't mean it's compatible with every network - that's why United States media outlets have been making a big deal of OnePlus collaborating with Verizon to ensure compatibility. Sales will start on November 1st and will start at $549 for an unlocked model.
