Lottery players will have a shot at the fourth-largest jackpot in USA history as numbers are drawn for the estimated $750 million Powerball game.

WCAU-TV reports 87-year-old Earl Livingston was invited to join the hospital staff's lottery pool, which included a winning $1 million Mega Millions ticket.

It could be the fourth largest in United States lottery history and the game's third largest jackpot.

That means the drawing on Saturday Oct. 27 will be worth $750 million with a cash option of $428.6 million.

The New Jersey hospital workers who helped an elderly patient become a Mega Millions lottery victor told Inside Edition they wanted to do something special for him.

No one has come forward to claim the Mega Millions prize.

The winning ticket was sold at the Holiday store at 2755 Brandt Drive.

If there's a victor, it would be one of largest jackpots in the nation's history.

The Mega Millions jackpot had reached $1.5 billion when Kelley Brooks' husband texted her, reminding her to get a ticket for that night's drawing.

No one has won the Powerball jackpot since August 11.

In the four days leading up to the drawing, about 370 million of the $2 Mega Millions tickets were sold in 44 USA states, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
