Joel Embiid gets Andre Drummond ejected with Oscar-worthy flop

Embiid said all he was doing was just talking and trying to win the game.

But their battle was cut short with 42.8 seconds left in the 4th quarter when Drummond was called for his second technical foul and tossed out after an apparent flop by Embiid.

After hearing of Embiid's comments about owning "real estate in his head", Drummond took to Twitter and posted the following message: "Lol does he?"

Drummond picked up his first technical foul with 2:01 left in the third quarter.

Last season's NBA Rookie of the Year Simmons was named in Philadelphia's starting five ahead of Wednesday's game in Milwaukee. Drummond's hand brushed Embiid's face after the basket, and Embiid exaggerated falling to the ground.

The Pistons' big man was quickly ejected, and Embiid got up and demonstratively gestured as if throwing Drummond out of the game, like a baseball umpire. As Embiid walked back to the Sixers' bench, it looked like he said something to Drummond.

Simmons said he felt good during warm-ups Wednesday and his back didn't bother him.

Then, down the stretch of regulation, the teams traded the lead six times, with three ties.

"But those are winning plays you got to make, and being disciplined in those situations and not just Andre, all of us, myself, coaches, whatever, we just got to be a disciplined organization in those tight quarters".
