First iPhone XR Hands-On Videos Hit YouTube Ahead of Pre-Orders

Taking a look at the iPhone XR's specs and price, the device arguably offers prospective buyers more bang for the buck than most iPhone models we've seen in recent years.

The iPhone Upgrade Programme is available for iPhone XR at apple.com and Apple Stores in the United Kingdom with low monthly payments starting at £41.45 with zero percent interest.

Pre-orders for Apple's most-affordable 2018 iPhones, iPhone XR, has started.

While the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max come in 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants, the iPhone XR comes in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options.

Preorders for the iPhone XR opens on iStore's website on Friday.

The iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max all feature the same 12-megapixel wide-angle lens on the back, and most of the same features, like optical image stabilisation, Smart HDR, portrait mode, and more.

The premium smartphone hits retail stores on October 26 in over 50 major markets, including India. The device is now finally available to pre-order in India via offline and online stores. The full payment can be made when the iPhone XR sale begins in India next week.

Just like the iPhone XS devices, the new iPhone XR also sports an edge-to-edge display with a notch on the top.

The iPhone XR is the cheapest of the three new iPhones starting at Rs 76,900 for the 64GB variant. Indeed, the main distinction between the iPhone XR and the XS is that the former ships with an LCD display as opposed to an OLED display.

The phone will be available in blue, yellow, red, black, white and coral similar to the iPhone 5C in 2013. Also missing is the more durable steel frame as the iPhone XS and XS Max, with the stronger material being replaced with more scratch and bending prone aluminum. The phone is powered by Apple's latest six-core A12 Bionic SoC, coupled with a quad-core GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB of inbuilt storage.
