LeBron James To Executive Produce Showtime Docu-Series

His comment was, "I am more than an athlete". That's according to Showtime, which announced Monday that the series is being executive produced by James and longtime friend and business partner Maverick Carter. "So keep the political commentary to yourself or, as someone once said, shut up and dribble".

The program's title? "Shut Up And Dribble".

"If being a star athlete is inherently a political experience, "Shut Up and Dribble" tells that complex and dramatic story from the past to the present and from the inside out", Showtime President David Nevins wrote in a news release, Mediaite reported.

Trump called Lemon the "dumbest man on television" in response to the James interview, and even though Lemon acknowledged that Trump has called lots of people stupid before, the CNN host made note of how often Trump insults the intelligence of people of color who criticize him.

While Mr. James has not yet responded to Mr. Trump's insult, other National Basketball Association players came out in support of him, including Stephen Curry, Bradley Beal and Donovan Mitchell, CBS News reported.

"I am surprised [.] more about the fact that they look the other way when it comes out that he's having an affair with a Playboy bunny and a stripper at the same time just after his wife gave birth", she said.

Recently, LeBron was mocked by President Donald Trump for opening up a school in his hometown that benefits youth from at-risk neighborhoods.

"It looks like LeBron James is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation and just as she always has, the First Lady encourages everyone to have an open dialogue about issues facing children today", the First Lady said through a spokeswoman.
