Demi Lovato remains hospitalized with 'complications' six days after reported overdose

Demi Lovato didn't suffer an overdose but caused it, a famous interventionist has claimed.

Since her alleged overdose, the 25-year-old is on the mend, with sources telling E! "That's up to Demi what she wants to say and what she wants to do".

After trending the hashtag #HowDemiHasHelpedMe last week, fans gathered on Friday evening to hold an impromptu sing-along in place of Demi's scheduled concert, which was cancelled following news of the singer's hospitalisation. "I will miss hearing my best friend's laugh, maybe my favorite sound in the world, in the audience for these final shows as she continues to recover".

Valderrama has been spotted visiting Lovato at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles multiple times, and a source tells ET that the actor has been by her side since the apparent overdose.

Daniels also called Demi her "hero" and added: "She's someone who has been honest, so candid about her struggles, from day one when she was a teenager".

The dancer then went on to say that she understands that fans are anxious about Demi, "I know you're all feeling lost without her at this moment in time", she added in the post. Vitale posted a note on Instagram Sunday night in which she said, "I care about Demi just like all of you do".

"She made the decision to come out publicly about her relapse recently because she thought she could inspire her fans and it would help her keep on track, but she has been battling her own demons for months", the insider continued.

Sources tell TMZ, Lovato has complications which include, extreme nausea and a high fever, among other things.

Earlier this week, the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer was reported to be planning on heading "heading straight to rehab" as soon as she's discharged from the hospital.
