Britain's Prince Harry and his American fiancee Meghan Markle will attend a memorial service next week for Stephen Lawrence, a London teenager who was murdered in a racially motivated attack 25 years ago, Kensington Palace said on Tuesday.

So far, so ordinary, you might think, particularly when it hit 25C in London - a relatively steamy day for the United Kingdom, which is undergoing an unusual heatwave - but royal pundits were quick to point out that there were two unusual elements to her look.

At a reception at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in central London, Ms Markle and Harry will meet delegates who have been taking part in the Youth Forum's sessions.

Talking to young people in the Commonwealth Equality Network, Ms Markle stressed the importance of its work challenging inequality based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Harry was wearing a light grey suit.
