The Witness is designer Jonathan Blow's followup to his debut indie platforming hit Braid. Like all of the months before, Microsoft will be handing out four games in total: two each for Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate introduced easier traversal than earlier AC titles, and it received an 8.2 in IGN's review, saying "London makes for the best Assassin's Creed experience in an age". It's a video game based on the movie, and is ideal for children. The Witness will be the first Xbox One title released this coming month, making the otherwise $40 title free for a month.

With many of these offers going live on April 1, you still have a few days left to grab the free games for March, so be sure to do that if you haven't already. Dead Space 2 is the middle chapter in Isaac Clarke's battle against the necromorph outbreak, and achieves a great balance between action and the bone-chilling horror that made the series' name. You never know when you might need it.
