West Brom Considering Managerial Options as Relegation to the Championship Looms

Albion lost 1-0 to Watford on Saturday but deserved to get something out of the game after a committed performance from their players.

Under-fire West Brom boss Alan Pardew addressed the media yesterday, in the aftermath of his side's bitterly disappointing 1-0 defeat to Watford, and insisted that the club's fans can not criticise the determination and endeavour of his team, as quoted by the Express & Star.

Former Crystal Palace, Newcastle and West Ham boss Pardew has won just one of his 14 league matches in charge since replacing Tony Pulis at The Hawthorns in November.

West Brom boss Alan Pardew has admitted to a dressing room row with Chris Brunt last weekend but feels the outburst of emotion is a positive sign as Albion battle against relegation.

"If you think I'm going to walk away with the experience I've got with a team that's probably isn't functioning very well, then you're wrong".

"It is a process of staying true to your profession and that is what I will do and I hope my players do the same", he added.

"I don't know where the team will be situated in the future but at this moment we try to enjoy, to improve the level day-by-day and that is the best mentality for the team".

"But when the ball does not go in the back of the net it is a bit frustrating and we keep seeing that in an area we have struggled with all year". The league table looks daunting. It's a tough business, we're playing tough teams.

After scoring the victor against Everton in their previous home game, Deeney stole the headlines for Watford once again 60 seconds later when he raced on to a through ball from substitute Will Hughes and fired a superb finish past Foster into the roof of the net.
